This exceptional coffee comes from Finca La Pachuca, located at 1,800 meters altitude in Valle de Dota, one of Costa Rica's most renowned coffee regions. It is produced by Roberto Mata Naranjo, a legend in Costa Rican coffee with nearly 50 years of experience in coffee cultivation and processing. A pioneer in sustainable production and responsible water management, Roberto now works with his family focusing on honey and natural processed coffees. The lot features Caturra variety cherries picked at perfect ripeness and undergoes 120-hour Juicy Honey fermentation, combining mucilage from the previous lot to enrich natural sugars. The cup is juicy with intense fruitiness, featuring red fruit, pineapple, and chocolate notes with a silky texture and long, elegant finish. Score: 88 points.
