This coffee is a Striped Red Bourbon variety from the La Piragua farm, located in the Huila region of Colombia. Grown at an altitude between 1600 and 1800 meters, this lot is processed using the natural method. It features a distinct flavor profile with notes of lavender, plum, and dates. This coffee is roasted as an omni-roast, making it suitable for both filter and espresso brewing methods.
Man Versus Machine is a Munich based specialty-coffee roastery founded in 2014 by Marco and Cornelia Mehrwald, roasting on site and operating several cafes in the city. The team favors light–to–medium, balanced and sweet roast profiles and offers omni profiles suitable for both espresso and filter brewing. Man Versus Machine sources from specialty suppliers and at times works with the likes of Nordic Approach to keep a rotating lineup of single-origin lots and blends.
