The beans are from Kurume and Dega varieties, processed using the washed method. The coffee showcases bright, fruity tasting notes of tangerine and raspberries with yellow floral undertones. Sourced through a network of 130 registered outgrowers, this reflects a community-scale effort where smallholder farmers work with a deeply rooted local operator. Olkai Coffee operates around half a dozen washing stations across Guji, Bule Hora, and Sidama, built on two decades of relationships formed through cherry collection.
