Fair-Trade Organic coffee from the Eastern Highlands of Papua New Guinea. Produced by a cooperative supporting over 3,000 local farmers. The beans grow on mature trees, some over 25 years old, producing a sweeter and more complex cup. Dark roast profile with flavor notes of brown sugar, prune, and walnut. Cupping notes reveal sweet raw sugar aroma, good acidity and creamy body, caramel overtones with hints of dried sweet apricot and a slight cocoa note on the finish.
