This Bourbon coffee is produced by Ernesto Menéndez at Los Andes farm in the Apaneca-Ilamatepec Mountain Range, Santa Ana, El Salvador at 1720 meters above sea level. The coffee is processed using the Anaerobic Natural method and was harvested in March 2024. The farm is approximately 5 hectares nestled in the mountain range. The Bourbon varietal at Los Andes grows beside SL28 trees, some nearly 80 years old, in a wild forest environment. The coffee features medium intense sweetness with flavor notes of dried apricot, dark chocolate, and stewed apples, with a medium body and smooth mouthfeel.
