This coffee is produced by a group of farms in Los Robles de Naranjo, Alajuela, Costa Rica, at 1500 meters above sea level under the oversight of Hermanos Aguilera. The beans are Sarchimore and Villa Sarchi varieties, processed using the washed method. In the cup, expect pronounced blackcurrant notes with intense dark fruit characteristics reminiscent of blackcurrant cordial. The coffee has a heavy, chewy, syrupy body that creates a luxurious mouthfeel. When milk is added, subtle floral notes emerge, complemented by brown sugar sweetness that rounds off the finish.
