This coffee originates from Malaysia, specifically the Sabah region in the town of Ranau, produced by Sabarica Coffee at elevations between 1,300 and 1,450 meters. The Catimor varietal is processed using the washed method. The coffee presents tasting notes of stone fruit and sugar cane sweetness with a lingering cacao finish. It is roasted to a medium level and is suitable for both espresso and filter brewing methods.

Ghostbird Coffee was founded by Thomas Ooi in Kuala Lumpur in 2015 with a mission to advance specialty coffee culture in Malaysia. Ooi built the roastery around a Giesen W6A drum roaster, roasting fresh daily and resting all beans for three days before dispatch to ensure peak flavor.
