MEJOR is a regional blend of coffees from smallholder producers around Popayán in the department of Cauca, Colombia, at 1700-1900 meters altitude. The coffee is grown in the Castillo variety and processed using the washed method, dried on tables at the farm. The blend features flavor notes of Montemorency cherry, citrus, and milk chocolate with bright, sweet, and silky characteristics.
Panther Coffee was founded in 2010 by Leticia and Joel Pollock, a husband and wife team bringing over 40 years of combined coffee industry experience to the Miami roastery. They began with a vintage 1927 Perfekt roaster, a piece of equipment acquired from Lighthouse Roasters in Seattle that carries the weight of coffee history into modern roasting practice.
