This is a 50/50 blend combining regular coffee and decaffeinated coffee for half the caffeine content. The blend features organic certification and is processed using washed method combined with Mountain Water Process decaffeination. Origin and variety vary seasonally. Brothers Jerad and Justin Morrison founded Sightglass Coffee in San Francisco in 2009, starting from a kiosk inside a 1924 warehouse in SoMa. The name comes from the viewing window on their vintage Probat roaster, a detail that captures the company's commitment to transparency at every stage of the process. Sightglass holds USDA organic certification through CCOF and sources most of its annual coffee from small farms following ecologically responsible practices. The Morrison brothers stepped down from leadership in 2024 after fifteen years, but the roasting philosophy they established, pairing mid century Probat equipment with careful, origin focused profiles, continues to define the operation.
