About This Coffee

This coffee is from El Cedral, a village in the Santa Bárbara Mountains of western Honduras. It is produced by Miladiz Mejía Reyes at her farm Regalo de Dios. The coffee is washed, with cherries de-pulped the same day, fermented in concrete tanks for 12 hours, washed three times, and dried on plastic tarps for 8-10 days. The variety is Parainema. The Santa Bárbara region rises to around 2,750 metres and much of the area remains covered by primary forest.
