Monsoon Malabar

About This Coffee

This is a unique coffee from the Malabar Coast in India. After harvest, the green coffee beans are exposed to the annual monsoon rain and winds of India for several months. As the beans absorb the moisture of the windy air, they expand in size and take on a unique flavor. The monsoon process helps remove acidity. The coffee has low acidity and full body with notes of molasses and date with a malty, sweet finish.
