Nicaragua Finca Los Placeres Javanica Washed

A single-origin coffee from Finca Los Placeres in the Matagalpa region of Nicaragua, grown at 840–970 masl on volcanic soils. Produced by the Mierisch Family, this coffee features the rare Javanica variety — a descendant of Ethiopian Typica landraces with an elongated bean shape. Processed using the washed method with selective hand-picking, tank fermentation, and drying on raised African beds. Flavor notes include jasmine, bergamot, lemon tea, white peach, and honey, resulting in a clean, floral, and tea-like cup.
