This coffee is sourced from the Sierra Mixteca region in Oaxaca, Mexico, grown at 1,400–1,800 meters above sea level by 70 smallholder farmers descended from the Mixtec civilization. The coffee features traditional varieties including Bourbon, Typica, and Mundo Novo, cultivated beneath native shade trees. Cherries are hand-picked at peak ripeness and processed using the washed method, then dried on African beds and patios. The harvest period runs from December to March. The cup profile offers tasting notes of dark chocolate, kumquat, and blackberry with rich sweetness and vibrant fruit character.
