This is a single origin, 100% Arabica coffee roasted slightly darker than a medium roast for a stronger, more chocolatey taste. The coffee features a bold flavor with a smooth, syrupy body and is roasted in Brixton, London. It is Soil Association Organic certified, speciality grade, beyond fair trade, and fully traceable. The coffee has been independently lab tested and is mycotoxin, mold, pesticide, and heavy metal free, while being high in polyphenols. The darker roasting style makes it particularly suitable for drinking with milk and for Bulletproof Coffee preparations.
Kirsty and Al launched Exhale Coffee in 2020 from their central London home during lockdown, building the entire operation around the idea that coffee could be optimized for health without sacrificing flavor. Every batch is independently lab tested across nine rounds for mycotoxins, mould, pesticides, and heavy metals, and the roasting method is designed to retain up to 90 percent of the beans' natural polyphenols. The coffee is single origin from Belen, Inza, in Colombia's Cauca region. Exhale holds B Corp certification alongside Soil Association Organic and Fairtrade status, and ships in fully plastic free packaging. The family run company now roasts from Brixton.
