This is a single origin Ethiopian coffee from Dimtu, produced by Odo Shakiso Woreda. The coffee is washed processed and certified organic by the Soil Association. It is specialty grade, 100% Arabica, and Fair Trade certified. The coffee is independently lab tested to be free from mycotoxins, mould, pesticides, and heavy metals. It features tasting notes of wild honey, sweet citrus, and white peach with a super smooth, fruity flavor profile.
Kirsty and Al launched Exhale Coffee in 2020 from their central London home during lockdown, building the entire operation around the idea that coffee could be optimized for health without sacrificing flavor. Every batch is independently lab tested across nine rounds for mycotoxins, mould, pesticides, and heavy metals, and the roasting method is designed to retain up to 90 percent of the beans' natural polyphenols. The coffee is single origin from Belen, Inza, in Colombia's Cauca region. Exhale holds B Corp certification alongside Soil Association Organic and Fairtrade status, and ships in fully plastic free packaging. The family run company now roasts from Brixton.
