Out There Coffee was founded by a woman entrepreneur in 2020 in San Francisco, beginning as a pop up café model that allowed direct customer engagement and feedback during its formative years through 2024. The roastery opened its first permanent location in 2024, marking a transition from mobile to rooted operations while maintaining the agility and personal touch of its origins. Small batch roasting of ethically sourced beans drives daily practice, with tasting of every roast ensuring consistent quality and allowing the roaster to understand how each batch develops and resonates with customers.
