About This Coffee

Peru is one of the world's leading producers of organic and Fair Trade certified coffee. This coffee is cultivated on small farms in the Andes Mountains at 3000-6000 feet elevation. The beans are hand-picked by farmers and processed using small-scale wet mills with traditional methods. The coffee features chocolate, smooth, and mellow flavor characteristics with a medium roast. It is certified Organic by the Montana Department of Agriculture and Fair Trade Certified.
