This coffee is a Geisha variety from Hacienda La Esmeralda in Panama, sourced from the Jaramillo farm in the Boquete region at altitudes above 1650 meters on the slopes of Volcán Barú. Hacienda La Esmeralda is renowned for its pioneering role in the discovery of the Geisha variety's extraordinary flavor potential, winning the 2004 Best of Panama competition. The Montaña designation refers to the high-altitude mountain lots on the estate.
