About This Coffee

This natural-processed Caturra coffee originates from Kotowa Duncan Estate in the Chiriquí Province of Panama's Boquete region. Grown at 1,700 meters above sea level in volcanic soil with a favorable highland microclimate, the cherries are hand-picked at peak ripeness. The beans undergo a distinctive 48-hour rest on shaded raised beds to encourage slow drying and beneficial microbes, followed by single-layer sun-drying and a three-week rest before hulling. Tasting notes include blueberry, blackberry, grape, mango, and hazelnut chocolate with winey notes.
