About This Coffee

PERE BIO is an organic-certified blend combining 70% Arabica beans from Honduras and 30% Robusta beans from India. The Arabica component contributes complex fruity notes and dark chocolate nuances, while the Indian Robusta adds an intense body and spicy depth. Roasted using a traditional long-drum roasting method, this low-acid blend features flavor notes of creamy dark chocolate, peanut, raspberry, blackberry, and a hint of clove. It produces a beautiful crema, making it ideal for espresso lovers and portafilter machines.

Blank Roast

Blank Roast is a coffee manufactory nestled in Neustadt an der Weinstraße, right on Germany's famous Wine Route — an unusual but fitting location for a roaster that draws on terroir-thinking. Master roaster Holger K. Blank has been at the helm since 2007, using a beautifully restored 1930s roasting machine fitted with modern controls. His unique approach includes adding organic grapevines from the surrounding region during the roasting process, which adds moisture and coaxes out extra aroma from the beans. The result is a distinctly smooth, aromatic cup with notes of vanilla, almond, and cinnamon developed during the 15-to-20-minute slow roast. Customers can watch the entire roasting process from their café seats while enjoying breakfast and freshly brewed coffee — a true sensory experience.
