This exceptional washed microlot comes from Richard Cotrina's Finca El Eucalipto, a small 2-hectare family farm located in the mountains of Cajamarca, Peru. The farm is in the San Jose de Lourdes region at 1450-1500 meters above sea level. Richard is a member of the Aromas del Valle Cooperative. The coffee is Bourbon variety, processed using the washed method with 60 hours of fermentation and slowly dried on raised African beds under solar tents for 15-18 days. Flavor notes include blueberry, lemon, and peach with bright fruit notes and elegant acidity.
Stay High Coffee Roasters was launched in London in February 2023 by Tom and Kat, who met while working as baristas. They are passionate about ethical sourcing and sustainability, with a focus on light to medium roasts that create sweet and balanced coffees.
