This single origin coffee is from El Rejo, a 1-hectare farm in San José del Alto, Jaén, Cajamarca region of Peru, at 1,750-1,800 meters altitude. Produced by Jose Rivera (Pepe) and his wife Mariagracia who run Origin Coffee Lab. The Typica Mejorado variety is a Bourbon and Ethiopian heirloom hybrid. The coffee is washed processed and delivers flavor notes of orange, honey, almond, and white tea with refined florals, bright acidity, and fruit notes. Filter roasted for optimal brewing.
