This coffee is a single-origin Washed coffee from Montaña Alta farm in Inkawasi, Cusco, Peru at 2,350 meters altitude. The SL09 variety was hand-picked in November 2025 and arrived in February 2026. Cultivated on volcanic soils rich in minerals and organic matter, the coffee grows under a natural canopy of native forest trees. The high altitude and cool Andean climate allow the cherries to develop slowly, resulting in dense beans and complex flavor profiles.

Zhang, who placed third in the French Brewers Cup in his first year as a barista, brings technical precision to every roast, using Stronghold S7Pro machines to highlight the unique terroir of each coffee through light profiles that express origin, climate, soil, and the people behind each bean.
