Gimme Coffee

About This Coffee

Founded in 2013 by 33 coffee producers in the Querocoto region of Peru and named to honor the Andean history and roots of the land, Cooperativa Agraria Rutas del Inca produces this coffee. The cooperative rapidly grew to over 300 members who are committed to producing coffees of exceptional quality. The coffee is certified organic and Fairtrade. The region's unique microclimate and high altitudes contribute to the coffee's characteristics. This coffee has been an integral component of Gimme's Leftist espresso blend.

Gimme Coffee

Gimme! Coffee was founded on April 8, 2000, by Kevin Cuddeback in Ithaca, New York, helping to shape the specialty coffee culture of the Finger Lakes region from its earliest days. In July 2022 the company completed a transition to a worker owned cooperative, giving the people who roast, brew, and serve the coffee a direct stake in the business. The roastery operates Probat drum style roasters at its Ithaca facility, producing coffees sourced through direct trade relationships with producers around the world. Cuddeback stepped down as CEO in early 2020, and the cooperative structure formalized the collaborative ethos that had defined the company for two decades. Today Gimme! serves its community from locations in Ithaca and Trumansburg, carrying forward the same commitment to quality and transparency that launched it over twenty years ago.
