Ratnagiri Estate Robusta Mosto Naturals is grown on a 117-hectare estate near Bababudangiri in the Western Ghats of South India, where coffee has been cultivated since 1927 by the Patre family. This Robusta is processed using mosto fermentation — a technique that uses liquid drawn from fermented coffee cherries, rich in wild yeasts, bacteria, and enzymes — applied here from an Arabica mosto culture tradition. The estate is shade-grown, inter-cropped with pepper, and holds Rainforest Alliance and Direct Trade credentials. Flavor notes include dried mango, jackfruit, nutmeg, and sweet cream.
