About This Coffee

The Red House blend combines coffee from Brazil and Ethiopia. The Brazilian component is a natural processed coffee from the Mogiana region, known for its soft, creamy, and milky profile. The Ethiopian component, sourced from the south west region, contributes body, spice, and sweetness. This blend is roasted to a medium profile to highlight its body and richness while maintaining a subtle acidity. It is versatile and suitable for both espresso and filter brewing methods.

Beanpress Coffee

Ben founded Beanpress in 2013 in Dorset, starting with a small roaster imported from Türkiye and his first pallet of specialty beans from importer Mercanta. A larger Joper cast iron roaster from Portugal followed the same year, and the roastery settled into a converted farm building at North West Farm, just outside the village of Winterborne Kingston. A trip to Ethiopia in 2014 reshaped Ben's understanding of the variety and care involved in coffee production, deepening his commitment to traceable, relationship driven sourcing. Beanpress specializes in single origin coffees and has grown into Dorset's leading supplier of locally roasted, ethically sourced beans, serving cafes, pubs, and restaurants across Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire, and Devon.
