A natural-processed microlot from Rwanda, produced by smallholder farmers delivering red cherries to the Rugamba wet mill on the shores of Lake Kivu. The coffee is the Red Bourbon variety, grown at 1520 meters altitude. Harvested April–July, the cherries are dried on raised beds for 20–25 days. Roasted lightly for filter, it offers fruity notes of sweet fig and strawberry with a hint of white chocolate in the aftertaste, resulting in a smooth and balanced body.
Named after the ancient Roman name for Lisbon, Olisipo Coffee Roasters was founded by Antony Watson and Sofia Gonçalves with a mission to honor their city's history of exploration. They see themselves as modern-day navigators, exploring the world to source unique and high-quality beans from small, independent producers. Their roasting style is dedicated to showcasing the stories and distinct flavors of these origins.
