About This Coffee

This washed-process Bourbon lot comes from the Coproca (Coopérative des Producteurs de Café) washing station in Rwanda's Nyamasheke district, located in the country's western highlands near Lake Kivu. Around 1,000 smallholder farmers contribute cherries to the Coproca washing station. Coffee cherries are grown on steep hillsides at elevations of 1,700–1,900 meters, where cool temperatures and rich soils support slow, even maturation. The coffee features white grape, lemon-lime, and cane sugar flavor notes with vibrant grape-like acidity and a zesty lemon-lime character balanced by gentle cane sugar sweetness. This is a light roast coffee that delivers a bright and elegant cup with clean, refreshing balance.
