Rwanda Gitwe is a fully washed coffee from the Gitwe Washing Station in Nyamasheke District, sourced from over 800 smallholder farmers at elevations between 1,800 to 2,000 meters. The coffee presents a fragrant bouquet of baking spices, honey, and light brown sugar with delicate accents of spiced tea and malted grain. In the cup, it offers bright, lemony acidity with sweet notes of caramel and black tea, complemented by tart dried green apple. The finish is clean and refreshingly tannic with emerging notes of allspice and black tea as it cools.
