About This Coffee

Rwanda Simbi is a microlot coffee from the Cyendajuru area of Huye District, Southern Province, Rwanda, grown at 1,710–1,850 meters altitude by 300 smallholder farmers in the Rugarama area. Produced by the Simbi Coffee Cooperative, founded in 2011, with 1,850 members (80% women). The coffee is a Bourbon Arabica variety processed using the honey method, resulting in a delicate and balanced cup with notes of red currant, honey, chocolate, and a hint of rose blossom.
