This coffee is from the Rwenzori Mountains in western Uganda, specifically the Kasese region at 1700-2200 meters altitude. It is a Natural processed coffee grown by smallholder farmers of the Bakonzo tribe under shade of banana trees on small plots. The varieties are SL14 and SL28, known for exceptional cup quality. The coffee displays tasting notes of cherry cola and black forest gateau.
