Yellow Pacamara from Huila, Colombia, grown at 1600m elevation on Finca Anaya by producer Sergio Aranda Gomez. This coffee undergoes a multi-stage washed process with yeast inoculation and co-fermentation: 24-hour initial fermentation, depulping, 48-hour secondary fermentation, submersion in a yeast and pre-fermented fruit solution, then washing and 8-12 day drying. Light roast with layered complexity featuring passion fruit cake, chrysanthemum tea, and peach boba flavors.
Founded in 2020 at the onset of the COVID 19 pandemic, Moonwake Coffee Roasters emerged from the passion of two former tech engineers, Ming Wood from Tesla and Mabel Yeung from Meta. What began as Ming's personal coffee project within Tesla's internal coffee club evolved into a full roastery operation after both founders chose to leave their tech careers to pursue coffee full time between 2023 and 2024. Moonwake represents a growing movement of technologists who discovered that coffee roasting offers greater fulfillment than their previous careers, channeling engineering precision into specialty coffee.
