SOPHIEN is a seasonal filter blend named after Sophienstrasse in Berlin, Germany. This is a clean, balanced and medium-bodied coffee with red fruit and refined sweetness flavor characteristics. The blend combines coffees from Brazil and Rwanda.
Ben Rahim, a Tunisian coffee professional, founded his eponymous cafe and roastery in 2015 at the historic Hackesche Höfe in Berlin Mitte. The concept was Berlin's first third wave coffee shop to incorporate an Arabian twist, drawing on North African and Middle Eastern coffee traditions alongside modern specialty techniques. The brand has since expanded to locations in Tunis and Doha, carrying this distinctive fusion of heritage and innovation to an international audience.
