About This Coffee

This coffee undergoes anaerobic co-fermentation with dehydrated strawberries added to the tank during the natural fermentation process. Produced by Brayan Alvear, it features a blend of Caturra, Castillo, and Colombia varieties. The coffee exhibits strawberry and cream aromatics with fresh strawberry and vanilla flavor notes. Roasted to order in small micro batches.

The Artery Community Roasters

The Artery Community Roasters is a social enterprise based in Ottawa, Ontario, employing people living with disabilities at living wages. They roast in small batches on a Coffee Crafters Artisan XL with a capacity of up to 10 pounds per roast, and ship within one week of roasting. Sourcing is done on a direct trade basis, maintaining one to two degrees of separation from the farmers. The Artery was named Coffee Roaster of the Month by Commonly Coffee.
