About This Coffee

This is a single origin coffee from the Bener Meriah Regency in Aceh Province on the island of Sumatra, Indonesia. Grown at 1350 meters altitude by Kopi (co-operative) Buana Mandiri, which has over 2,000 members and has been Fairtrade and organic certified since 2015. The coffee is processed using the traditional Wet-Hulled (Giling Basah) method. Varieties include Catimor, Gayo-1, and Timtim, all related to the Hybrid de Timor. The coffee has an SCA score of 83.
