This coffee is from Nicaragua, specifically from the Los Papales farm in the Jinotega region at 1,300-1,700 meters altitude. It is a washed process coffee featuring Bourbon, Catuai, Caturra, and Pacamara varieties. The coffee is Rainforest Alliance certified. It has flavor notes of cocoa, caramel, and molasses. It is roasted slightly darker than typical single origin coffees to caramelize the coffee's natural sugars while preserving subtle fruit character.
