Pure Roast Coffee was founded in 2006 by Martin Symington in Lisburn, Northern Ireland, and operates as a third generation family business. They are the only coffee roaster in Northern Ireland to achieve BRC AA+ food standard accreditation, placing them in the top 30% of UK food suppliers. The switch to Loring convection roasting technology cut CO2 emissions and gas usage by up to 70%. Pure Roast is also a private label specialist, serving clients across the UK, Ireland, and Europe. In 2022 they secured their first major GB supermarket deal worth one million pounds. Their product range includes whole bean, roast and ground, ESE pods (one of the few producers in the UK), and Senseo compatible pods. All packaging is compostable or fully recyclable.
