About This Coffee

A single-origin washed coffee from the Guji region of Ethiopia, produced by Tagel Alamayehu at the Hambela Goro washing station. Grown at 2,300 meters altitude by 460 smallholder farmers cultivating the 74110 variety. Cherries are hand-selected at peak ripeness, fermented in water for 48 hours after depulping, and dried on African beds for 10–12 days. Tasting notes include floral, blueberry, orange, and citrus. Recommended for filter brewing.

Harmony Roasters

Harmony Roasters began in 2021 when Dani sold his motorbike to buy a one kilogram capacity roaster. Together with his partner Agatha, who handles photography, social media, and the web presence, Dani built a micro roastery in Montcada i Reixac on the outskirts of Barcelona. His approach favours minimal intervention, letting the coffee's natural character come through rather than imposing a heavy roast signature. It paid off quickly: Dani won both the Catalan Coffee Roasting Championship and the Spain Roasters Championship in 2021, then took the Catalan title again in 2022. The roastery uses fully compostable packaging and supplies several businesses around Barcelona.
