From the southern highlands of Tanzania, this award-winning peaberry coffee is grown by smallholder farmers of the Isaiso Agricultural Marketing Cooperative Society (AMCOS) in the Mbeya and Songwe regions at elevations of 1350–1490 meters. This washed-process peaberry features a unique cup profile with dark chocolate and ripe plum at the base, lifted by juicy black currant and a gentle chamomile finish. The peaberry mutation results in a more concentrated and consistent roast. With medium body and medium acidity, this coffee shines across a range of brewing methods. In 2023, this coffee won top honors in the Tanzania Fine Coffee Competition.
Born during the COVID pandemic from a simple popcorn popper experiment, New Beginnings Coffee is a Tennessee roastery with a mission that extends well beyond the cup. Founded by David, the operation has grown into a roast to order model where every batch is digitally logged and carefully profiled. A portion of proceeds supports charitable organizations, tying each bag of responsibly sourced coffee to a broader purpose. Currently shipping within the United States, this small batch roaster brings fresh, intentional coffee to a growing community of local supporters.
