About This Coffee

This limited edition microlot coffee comes from Finca La Bendición, located in Mozonte, Nueva Segovia, Nicaragua at the highest altitude suitable for coffee cultivation in the country. The farm spans 70 manzanas (approximately 49 hectares) with 16 manzanas dedicated to coffee cultivation and the rest preserved as forest, creating a damp, green microclimate rich in organic material. The farm was established in 2008 by Don Liberato Jarquin and is now operated with his son Sergio. This is a Maracaturra variety that has undergone a Carbonic Maceration process. The farm also grows Caturra, Catuai, Bourbon, Catimor, Pacamara, Geisha, and Java varieties.
