This is a specialty coffee blend designed specifically for espresso machines and Bialetti stovetops. It features a medium-dark roast profile with low acidity, smooth body, and predominantly chocolatey flavor notes. The blend is sourced sustainably, either directly from farmers or through importers working in growing regions. It is designed to work well in automatic machines, espresso machines, and stovetop brewers, and can also be used as a dark roast filter coffee. It performs well both on its own and with milk, including plant-based milk alternatives.

Rose Coffee Roasters

Rose Coffee Roasters was founded in 2022 in Zurich by Matt Winton, the 2021 World Brewers Cup Champion, together with Frederic Brunner. Matt's background spans aircraft engineering in Australia and years of competition at the highest level of specialty coffee. The team, which includes Sierra Yeo (2022 UK Brewers Cup Champion), roasts exclusively on Stronghold electric roasters powered by 100% renewable electricity. Every batch is roasted to order, with a deliberate focus on brightness, sweetness, and flavor. Rose sources top end specialty lots through direct relationships with farmers in Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Ethiopia, China, and Indonesia. The name represents a duality Matt finds in great coffee: something simple and familiar on the surface, yet layered and complex underneath. It is a small, independent roastery with no shortcuts and no cheap blends.
