About This Coffee

El Árbol is a Maracaturra variety coffee from the El Árbol farm in the Nueva Segovia region of Nicaragua, grown at 1400 meters altitude. Produced by Claudia Lovo, it is processed using carbonic maceration natural method — a technique inspired by winemaking involving fermentation in a closed environment with added CO₂. It is light roasted and offers an intense, fermented, and fruit-forward flavor profile with notes of cherry, raisin, and red wine. Recommended for filter brewing methods including Aeropress, Chemex, and batch brew.
