Ioannis Coffee Chef was founded in 2021 by Ioannis Nikolaidis, a coffee specialist with over a decade of experience in retail and wholesale coffee. The company roasts specialty premium coffee in small batches in Brooklyn, New York, sourcing only beans that score 82 points or higher on the Specialty Coffee Association scale. In October 2025, Nikolaidis opened a flagship micro roastery on East 14th Street in Manhattan, combining a coffee bar with on site roasting and light bites. The operation follows a farm to cup model built on ethical sourcing and rigorous quality control at every stage.
