About This Coffee

A Catuai variety coffee from Abu Coffee, produced at Hacienda Cañas Verdes in the Cañas Verdes region of Boquete, Chiriquí, Panama, at 1,550 meters above sea level. Processed using an anaerobic natural method: cherries are floated in mountain spring water, fermented in open tanks for 24 hours, then sun-dried on African raised beds for 25 days. The cup is described as tropical, juicy, and sweet, with tasting notes of passion fruit, cacao, orange, cherry, and brown sugar. Roasted light/medium and recommended for filter brewing. Cup score: 89.75.
