About This Coffee

This natural processed coffee comes from the Rwenzori region in Uganda. It is a collection of coffee from small-holder producers in the region. The cherries are selectively picked and brought to the processing station on the same day, then separated by floatation and put onto drying tables. The coffee is dried for 21 to 35 days. Once ready, the dried cherries are brought to Kampala for milling and export processing.

Oddly Correct

Gregory Kolsto founded Oddly Correct in 2008 as a garage roasting operation in Kansas City, Missouri, before opening a public shop in June 2011 that would introduce specialty coffee expertise to a city eager for quality. Starting with a 2.5 kilogram Ambex roaster featuring 20 minute roast cycles, the operation demonstrated that thoughtful coffee could emerge from modest beginnings. In the startup phase, Kolsto delivered beans by bicycle, a commitment to direct customer relationships that became central to the roasterys identity. Co operator Mike Schroeder joined in 2011, strengthening the team and operation; their focus on sourcing wild and unique coffees earned the roastery recognition as Best Small Coffee Roaster in Kansas City in 2015.
