Ghost Coffee Collab

About This Coffee

This house blend from Ghost Coffee Collab features two Colombian components: a washed coffee from Gaitania in Tolima, and a washed Castillo variety from Finca El Paraiso with red plum co-fermentation. The blend components change as new coffees become available, allowing for ongoing refinement while maintaining consistent quality. The coffee features silky textures, ripe red fruits, sparkling acidity, and candy sweetness. It performs well across multiple brew methods including immersion brews, pour overs, and espresso.

Ghost Coffee Collab

Ghost Coffee Collab opened in October 2021 in Pittsburgh's Uptown neighborhood, founded by Joe Burns, a nationally ranked barista with over thirteen years in the coffee industry. The roastery is built around a fascination with fermentation and experimental processing, offering coffees that showcase techniques like extended anaerobic fermentation, co fermentation, and submerged tank processing. New releases drop on the first of each month, giving the lineup a rotating, discovery driven character that rewards curiosity. Burns and his team, each with at least a decade of barista experience, roast everything on site and work with producers who share their interest in pushing processing boundaries. The result is a roastery where every bag tells a story about what happens between harvest and roast.
