This decaffeinated coffee uses a unique process developed in Colombia involving fermented molasses, vinegar, steam, and water to naturally remove 96-97 percent of the caffeine. The decaffeination method has been noted as a game changer in producing high-quality decaf coffees. The coffee features tasting notes of milk chocolate, cane sugar, and citrus. It works well as both an espresso and as a drip coffee.
Geoff Polci, a certified Q Grader whose coffee journey spans two decades, founded Stereo Coffee Roasters in Toronto in June 2018. Polci first roasted coffee in 2004 at a restaurant in Costa Rica and went on to run a series of cafes and co own another roasting company before launching Stereo. The roastery focuses on sustainable, traceable coffees from single farm producers, with a particular commitment to sourcing from women and Indigenous communities. Polci brings a hands on approach to quality, and his Q Grader certification underpins the sourcing and roasting decisions across the lineup.
