This Colombian single origin coffee is grown by Oliverio Villafaña on a farm in Nabusimake, Sierra Nevada at 1800-2000 meters altitude. It is a washed process lot using 100% Typica variety. The medium roast aims to bring out texture and balance for espresso while preserving the coffee's origin, variety, and process identity. The flavor profile features red apple, dark chocolate, and hazelnut notes with a rich and smooth character. It works with milk or without and is designed for espresso machines, stovetop, or French press, though it works with any brew method.
Upside is an independent roastery in Dublin, run by Jamie & Lucy since 2016. Their name is a nod to their North Dublin home and the positive impact they believe coffee can have.
