Onyva Coffee

About This Coffee

This coffee is grown by about 750 small producers from Mundayo in the Nensebo region of West Arsi, Oromia, Ethiopia at 1,950 meters above sea level. It features various JARC and Landrace varieties processed using the natural method. The coffee is a filter roast with flavor notes of milk chocolate, strawberries, and floral characteristics. Ripe cherries are handpicked and taken to the AASH washing station where they are manually sorted, dried on raised beds, and regularly turned to ensure even drying over 20 to 25 days. The farms are largely organic by nature with little to no use of fertilizers or pesticides, and most work is done manually.
