Jax Mariash founded Stoked Coffee Roasters in 2014 in Hood River, Oregon, after an eight month apprenticeship learning the craft from Jackson Hole Roasters. The roastery is family owned and operated, with siblings Katelyn and Emily involved in the business. All eleven coffee roasts are Certified Organic by the Oregon Department of Agriculture, and production runs weekly on a 25 pound San Franciscan roaster named Pearl. Stoked has built a partnership with The North Face, operating coffee bars in flagship stores, and brands itself as the official coffee of the outdoors. The ethos connects specialty coffee to an active, adventure driven lifestyle.
